Chris received his B.A. in Criminal Justice (with Distinction) in 2011 and his Juris Doctor in 2015. He was called to the bar in 2016 and practices exclusively in the area of criminal defence, with a particular interest in DUI/Impaired Driving offences. He has practiced criminal law both as a Crown Prosecutor and as defence counsel and has appeared in nearly every court point in Saskatchewan. Chris has experience in a broad range of criminal matters, including property-related crimes, violent crimes, sexual offences, drug trafficking, weapons charges, homicide, and DUI/impaired driving charges. He frequently appears in Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench and has experience and an interest in criminal appeal work. Chris employs a flat-fee retainer arrangement so clients understand the upfront costs to their file. He also frequently accepts files for those eligible for court appointed counsel.
Chris is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Bar Association, the Saskatoon Bar Association, the Saskatoon Criminal Defence Lawyers Association, and the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association.
